About Us
Enlightened Learning has been supporting Ventura County families in education since 2016.
Our instructors range from seasoned, credentialed teachers to local collegiate educators eager to contribute to the growth of our community. With the many collective years supporting education, two things became abundantly clear:
1) Students who fall behind are often left behind.
2) Many students struggle in school for reasons beyond the concepts!
Teachers are working hard doing the best they can to educate our students. Unfortunately, with so many students per classroom, teachers often are not given the time they need to partner with students individually when they begin to fall behind. That is where we come in!
Our entire center is dedicated to coming alongside each of our students and helping identify the areas in which they struggle. Together, we help our students fill in any missing links, understand the concepts, build confidence, and develop core life skills such as organization and time management.
On top of this, we also see students who are struggling because they don't connect with their teacher's education style. Every student is unique! Some students are auditory learners while others process information visually or tactically. To enable students to absorb as much information as possible, our tutors incorporate each student's individual learning style in the educational process. We are here to serve your students. Alyssa
Studying to be a teacher, Alyssa loves to work with students in subjects K-8th grade and strives to teach the kids in a fun and interactive way!

Cari loves History and Science! She is a full-time teacher who teaches part-time with us, sharing her love for learning in a fun and interactive way!

Skilled in drawing and sewing, Xevani teaches art classes for all ages!

Daisy loves working with elementary ages in all subjects!
Bekah
Bekah helps run the day-to-day operations at the learning center. She can help answer any questions you might have!

Dawn
Dawn loves to share her passion for both 2-D and 3-D art. She teaches Clay & Ceramics, painting, adult classes and more! She has a deep love for animals as well and comes to teach us about amazing critters every week!

Heather loves to draw and paint! She is one of our amazing Art Camp Instructors helping out whenever she is home from college!

Pedro
Pedro teaches math and loves everything from addition and subtraction to calculus!
Elaina
Elaina loves to work with students up through 8th grade. She tutors in all subjects, teaches elementary art and leads our learning pods!
Jade
Jade teaches Spanish, math, and all elementary subjects up through 9th grade. She loves to make homework assignments fun and easy to understand.

Math is Kaitlyne's specialty! She tutors all our upper level math students from Pre-Algebra and Math one to AP Calculus and Trig! (online students only)

Nickolas loves everything music! From piano to guitar, flute to violin, Nicholas is amazing! He teaches music theory and loves to have fun with music!

Jose is amazing with math and science! He loves solving problems and teaching all levels of math!
Having studied English and Literature in school, Renae loves to tutor students in reading and writing skills. She works with students K-12th grade helping to inspire a love for English studies.
Sofia
Sofia is a phenomenal artist! She excels in drawing portraits and animals! She also teaches piano lessons whenever she is home from college.
