Christian - Advanced Math Tutor
Christian graduated from CSUCI with a degree in Mathematics. Currently, he is enrolled in the teaching credential program at CSUCI and is looking forward to teaching high school math in the near future! Christian has been working as a private math teacher for 3 years and is currently on of our center's advanced math tutors!
Elya - Owner and Teacher
Elya has been working with young students for over 10 years. Nine years ago she discovered her passion for educating the next generation. Elya works daily to share inspiration, confidence, and key life skills with both her staff and her students. Providing a stress-free, fun, and interactive atmosphere for all students is her focus at Enlightened Learning!
Kiki - Art Director and Teacher
Kiki has been working with and inspiring young students for 5 years. Two years ago she was hired by Enlightened Learning as an art teacher and she quickly earned her place as our Art Director! Kiki now designs and implements unique curriculum for our art classes and art camps. Kiki is currently completing her degree as an art major at CSUCI.
Sam - English and K-8 Tutor
Sam earned her degree in English from CSUCI and is currently completing her teaching credential with hopes of working as a local elementary school teacher in the near future. Sam has been working with young students for 6 years and loves helping students make breakthroughs and connections in their work!
Cameron - Advanced Math Tutor
Cameron has been tutoring students of all ages for 6 years. He is currently completing his degree in mathematics at CSUCI. Cameron truly loves math and all the various disciplines associated with it. He enjoys helping students discover the same love of math he has and showing them that math is not as difficult as they originally thought.
Rosaria - Art Teacher
Rosaria first started teaching art in 1998 in Italy. She earned her first degree in fine arts from the State School of Art in Catania, Italy. Also in Catania, Italy, Rosaria majored in two Foreign Language and Literature programs. She continued with art specializing in comics and script writing at the Roman School of Comics in Rome, Italy.
Jessica - Art Teacher and K-8 Tutor
Jessica is an art teacher and tutor with a passion for passing on her skills and knowledge to future generations. She has years of experience working with students as young as 3 to students in university. Jessica earned her degree in fine arts and is currently pursuing her teaching credential at CSUCI. Ultimately, she is hoping to become a teacher in the Conejo Valley Unified School District.
Xochitl - Spanish and K-8 Tutor
Xochitl is completing her degrees at CLU and is completing a double majoring in Sociology and Spanish with a double minor in Political Science and Philosophy. Once she completes her degree, she is planning to enroll in law school. Xochitl loves taking the stress out of learning new academic concepts and helps all her students grow in confidence and skill.
Ari - Advanced Math Tutor
Ari has been tutoring young students for the past 4 years. She graduated from CSUCI with a degree in Liberal Studies: Teaching and Learning with a minor in mathematics. Currently, she is pursuing her teaching credential and working as an assistant teacher in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Ari breaks down complicated math concepts for her students, showing them that math can be easy!
